The "Malý zámecký Restaurant" (Small Chateau Restaurant) and its choice dishes of both modern cuisine and traditional meals prepared according to original historic recipes is highly recommended for a pleasant afternoon or evening in the company of friends, accompanied by a fine glass of wine from our own wine archive, which is found in the original historic cellar space. Or why not opt for a romantic evening with a view of the floodlit Trosky Castle from the adjacent Lovecký Sálonek (Hunting Room), where you can listen to tunes played by the Chateau pianist on certain days. The entire Chateau area, together with the Summer Restaurant on the Chateau ramparts and the spacious rectangular courtyard, is absolutely perfect for organising large garden parties for up to 1000 people, accompanied by banquet dishes of roast turkey, pig, or bull. The impression of the evening is even further enhanced by historical sword-fighting, playing with fire, a performance by Middle-Age conjurers, fanfares sounded by the Chateau buglers, an accordionist, a Middle-Age band, a cymbal folk band, a jazz band, a swing orchestra, and festive fireworks.

Relaxation for your body and your tired mind The surroundings and area around Hrubá Skála Chateau are absolutely ideal for families with children, relaxation for senior citizens, and company motivation training sessions (teambuilding programmes and relaxation for managers). Why not try, for example, abseiling from the castle gorge, shooting from a crossbow, rope adventures, rock climbing lessons, mountain biking, crossing the gorge on a pulley, battling for castle treasure, or rafting on the River Jizera. The close surroundings also offer the use of the tennis court in the village of Hrubá Skála, horse riding, massage, bubble baths (Jacuzzi), mudpacks, and a solarium in the nearby Lázně Sedmihorky spa village, or why not simply take a relaxing stroll through the peaceful retreats of the Hrubá Skála rock town formation.

There are 4 reception rooms available with a total capacity of 110 people in the peaceful surroundings of the Chateau's Valdštejn wing. One major advantage is the possibility we have of connecting the individual rooms in such a way as to be able to uninterruptedly provide your delegates with refreshments during the meeting.

We will also be delighted to prepare weddings, graduation dinners, working lunches, and festive dinners for smaller groups in one of our 4 reception rooms, whereas we prefer arranging gala dinners in the Chateau Congress Hall or in the Valdštejn Hall, with its delightful view of the main courtyard and Trosky Castle. With its strategic position in close proximity to the town of Turnov (only a 60-minute drive from Prague by motorway in the direction of Liberec), the Hrubá Skála Chateau Hotel is eminently predisposed to hold your conference, seminar, meeting, presentation, or training session. It goes without saying that we are able to offer celebratory lunches and dinners in the reception rooms themselves, in the two Chateau restaurants, or in the Congress Hall. We will be glad to prepare a summer breakfast for you on the grass of the Chateau garden or in the Chateau courtyard, or perhaps a garden party with grilling, quick working lunches, or an Old-Czech style feast accompanied by Middle-Age sword-fighting, live music, and even our serving staff in period costume as you wish. The Chateau Courtyard is also a ceremonial area which is suitable for presenting new cars, and so on. The outstanding location of our Chateau Hotel has made Hrubá Skála the ideal place to hold your teambuilding activities in the backdrop of the nearby rock town formation and castle gorge. Rope adventures, crossing the gorge on a pulley, archery, a battle for castle treasure, rafting, and nighttime orienteering races; these are just a few examples of the teambuilding programmes that we are able to offer.
